Water Resources Planning Institute, WRA, MOEA plays an important role as the staff organization in water resources planning in Taiwan. It produces plenty of plans, researches, trials and investigation reports yearly. To provide abundant information about water resources planning, the efficient management and promotion, Water Resources Planning Institute has built a library management system to manage in digitalization method. By using the establishment of digitalized information, it can bring easier way to use over the years water resources data, and also more convenient to spread. Therefore it might recall Taiwanese people deep and comprehensive understanding in the history of water resources.
Water Resources Planning Institute, WRA, MOEA has collected nearly 30,000 volumes of technical reports and CD-ROMs which are published by the Water Resources Agency and its affiliated agencies, and part of them were published by Water Resources Planning Institute. As of September, 2019, the amount of publication was 3,619 volumes. According to the category of the report, they were divided into geo-tech research, water resources planning, hydro-tech research, groundwater research, river planning, irrigation and drainage planning, information and comprehensive categories.
