The "water environment" of drainage has a high correlation with the usage of people, ecology, and management. Although the environmental and ecological data are accumulated continuously, it is not easy to inquire about the results of the investigations or data collection by different administrations over the years. It is challenging to collect the basic ecological data without a complete database system and query platform during the environmental development of the drainage. To solve this problem, we collected the ecology and status investigation data from the drainage planning report for the past years. The data was digitized and built into the Data Management System for easy and quick searching and on-site data storage.
In this project, the "Data Management System for Drainage Ecology and Status Investigation (DMS4DESI)" was established and officially online in 2018 (as Figure 1). It is conducive to long-term data accumulation for ecological and environmental data. At the same time, the "i Water" APP was released on the store and the people involved in the investigation mechanism. With the convenience of mobile devices, there are more opportunities to implement the partnership cooperation for environmental drainage creation and ecological environment in the future.
