  1. Hydrological Model

    1. Central River Analysis System Platform in Taiwan

The platform provides hydraulics engineers with hydrological records, geologic data, and plenty of water flow numerical model. Besides, the simulation results could be customized to the required format and could be displayed on the GIS platform.

    2. HEC-HMS

The Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS), developed by hydraulic engineering center, US Army Corps of Engineers(USAC), is designed to simulate the complete hydrologic processes of watershed systems. The software includes many traditional hydrologic analysis procedures such as unit hydrographs and hydrologic routing.

  2. Hydrodynamic Model

    1. HEC-RAS

HEC-RAS is designed to perform one and two-dimensional hydraulic calculations for a full network of natural and constructed channels.

    2. CCHE—1D、2D、3D

CCHE is designed to simulate watershed processes, channel network hydraulics, river morphology, flood analysis, and irregular wave deformation etc.

    3. SRH—1D、2D

SRH—1D、2D is designed to analyze mobile-bed transport, hydraulic routing, soft bedrock erosion, riverbank erosion, and reservoir turbidity current etc.

    4. NETSTARS

NETSTARS is an uncoupled model which is designed to simulate the network of stream tube for alluvial river and is capable of simulating long term flood routing and bed erosion.

    5. FlO-2D

The FLO-2D model was conceptualized in 1986 to predict mudflow hydraulics. The US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) supported the initial model development and first application to Telluride, Colorado in 1988. What sets FLO-2D apart from other hydrologic and hydraulic models is its capability to simulate urban flooding in high resolution and unlimited detail including the storm drain system.

    6. FLOW-3D

FLOW-3D provides a complete CFD simulation platform for engineers investigating the dynamic behavior of liquids and gas in a wide range of industrial applications and physical processes. FLOW-3D focuses on free surface and multi-phase applications, serving a broad range of industries including water civil infrastructure, offshore, energy.
