Seeing through the heart of a documentary
Publish Date: 2019-09-17
In recent years, microfilms and videos have been widely used for government policy propaganda. It’s an honor to invite well-known director, Hung-Lung Hsu, to deliver a lecture on how to create a wonderful drama, how to film a remarkable scenario, how to tell a story through images and how to properly use different kinds of filming equipment including cameras and drones(as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2). He believes that a wonderful story can be created as long as we completely devote ourselves to one specific fields. As demonstrated in figure 3, Director of Water Resources Planning Institute, Chun-Hung Chen also raises a couple of questions about how to connect the engineering and local story. For example, the cooperation between Director Hsu and Third Maintenance Office, Directorate General of Highways facilitate the protection of mother crabs in Kenting, which is an impressive and successful project. Hopefully, a story related to hydraulics engineering can be produced in the near future by using the concepts and tips we have learned today. Last but not the least, we must thank Director Hsu for sharing his marvelous experience.
